Blue Panda Realty

At Blue Panda Realty, we’re in the business of being different. We believe that being different is more than a good thing — it’s the only way to be. In an industry overrun by outdated business models and false handshakes, we embrace innovation, collaboration, and outside-the-box thinking in order to design a more creative and progressive real estate experience.

Real estate has been stagnant for too long. It’s time for the innovators, engineers, and artists in our ranks to take charge. At Blue Panda, we connect over collaboration to create new ways of doing business. We provide agents and clients with more clarity, more control, more choices, and more joy, which allows them the radical independence they need to truly Own Their Freedom.

Emilie Darlington

In my abstract works I combine organic, free-flowing paint contrasted with detailed pattern added by hand. The organic quality of paint is connected to the primarily biological source imagery.

Additionally, my abstracts are aimed at creating a targeted sensation for the viewer, whether it be by scale, distortion, or immersion. These qualities are intended to evoke a shared experience for viewers, and are tailored for each piece to induce a desired emotional response or mental state.

My illustrative works have central themes of animals, patterns, and bright colours. The use of bright colour communicates a strong, positive energy, and a secondary layer of patterning is added when filling in colour using dots.

Emilie Gignac

Emilie is a Canadian artist based in Ottawa, Ontario, known for her modern abstract murals and large-scale painting. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a specialization in abstract painting.

The concept of chance versus control has taken a lead in my artistic practice. I question the materiality of my surfaces and the effects of establishing new formalist perspectives.

A fundamental part of my process includes working solely with the primary colours to create a vast array of colours in my abstract paintings. I paint in an organic way, where the layers respond in a spontaneous way to what preceded them. While considering the unity of the piece, I first allow the painting to take on its own life using chance, then intervention and eventually, complete control. The fine lines crystallize the notion of control in the work, because they tighten up the work largely between the drying stages.
Fall Down

First 20 years of my life I spent playing Basketball religiously and listening to Hip hop. I always liked drawing and was fascinated with Graffiti tags and (one of one) stickers seen around Ottawa. I started working retail at a store that sold spray paint and was immediately hooked, not only in to using Graffiti products but the entire life style that came with it.

Skateboarding culture happened to land very close to me in terms of vibe and lifestyle (hanging with friends and learning new
tricks). The two (Skateboarding and Street Art) have been a huge part of my life ever since, made me stronger in the community and inspires me to keep moving.

In Terms of getting started in street art - Seeing Tags and meeting Artist motivated me to continue to want to paint - I just wanted to paint walls, paint for fun and catch tags. Meet artists a like and form a collective with in the Community of Ottawa. Hosting club nights to promote the scene, bring people together and sell our work (ie: The Collective Seen / House of Paint / Waves). Ottawa produces a lot of very talent artist, and I'm blessed to be part of it.

Studio Twenty Two

Jeff's art is primarily abstract and uses a unique balance of movement, color, texture and energy. He usually paints with dark colors and in some of his paintings overrides and dominates the painting with an impactful or powerful word that leaves the observer with a very strong and direct impression on first viewing his painting. Jeff is primarily an acrylic painter.

Jeff's spirituality impacts his art. Some have observed that they feel Jeff's 20 years working as a First Responder with the City of Ottawa has had an impact on his paintings. At a glance it reflects some of the darkness he has seen in his profession, while on further reflection shows through a strength and determination that strongly represents the fearlessness of his personality.
Corinne Blouin

Corinne Blouin is a multimedia artist and yoga teacher based in Ottawa. She approaches the creation process as a ritual for self-soothing. For her, creating is about self reflection. She’s highly influenced by exploring her inner worlds through meditation, nature connection and movement. She balances her time between creating for a variety of local companies, organizations and festivals. She facilitates yoga and wellness workshops where she explores emotion through creation. She also teaches a weekly yoga/art workshop at the Cornerstone women’s shelter.

Corinne is also the Art Director and co-owner of Music.Art.Ppl collective. Together, they create events and connect artists to diverse communities across Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto.
